IConCMT 2026 – Human-Centered AI: Bridging Technical Innovation and Human Experience
Welcome to the 8th International Conference on Creative\Media/Technologies (IConCMT), bringing together interdisciplinary perspectives on the rapidly evolving relationship between humans, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies.
Under the theme “Human-Centered AI: Bridging Technical Innovation and Human Experience” IConCMT 2026 explores how technological innovation can be developed, applied, and critically examined with human needs, values, creativity, and experience at its core. The conference connects perspectives from AI and machine learning, media and creative technologies, digital humanities and cultural heritage, robotics, and inclusive design.
Hosted by the Institute of Creative\Media/Technologies (ICMT) at USTP, the conference combines hands-on research workshops with invited keynote talks and interdisciplinary discussion. Projects and approaches ranging from ethical AI and humanoid robotics to AI-assisted exploration of film history, and industrial heritage demonstrate the breadth of human-centered research across the institute.
The 2026 edition also marks 15 years of ICMT, providing an opportunity to reflect on the institute’s development while looking ahead to emerging research and promoting the new generations of researchers by collaborating with the Different Brilliant Award.
IConCMT provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, students, and international partners to exchange ideas, share research, and build new collaborations across disciplinary boundaries.

- International Week (23 - 27 November 2026) Simultaneously, the International Week will be happening, creating a vibrant atmosphere of cultural exchange and collaboration.
- Different Brilliant (25 November 2026) : Witness the best student thesis rewarded in this special event, celebrating excellence in academic achievement. Winners of the last year competition.
- Graduate Consortium Poster Session (24 November 2026) : Students of our master study programmes Interactive Technology, Digital Design and Digital Media Production present their exposés of their master thesis.
